Location
The Meeting will be held in the Beurs-WTC Congress Center, www.wtcrotterdam.nl, that is located in the heart of the city of Rotterdam next to the city hall and is easily accessible. The building has it own metro station “Beurs”, only 2 stops from the central railway station. Beurs-World Trade Center is a modern building with a historical past. A past that dates back to 1598, when the first Rotterdam Beurs (stock exchange) was founded. In 1941, the Beurs on the Coolsingel was opened. This building, with its many functions, housed not only numerous exchanges, but also shops, conference halls, a bar and offices.
Rotterdam Airport has several regional connections, see www.rotterdam-airport.nl. The congress hotels are on walking distance.

Timing
The conference will start on Sunday 7 September 2008 with registration, keynote lecture, sponsored symposia, opening ceremony and welcome reception. The conference will end on Friday 12 September 2008 at noon.

Letter of invitation
The organizers will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to any individual requesting one, once their registration form and fee have been received. It is to be understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa. It is not a commitment on the part of the congress to provide any financial support. Applications have to be received by the conference secretariat before July 1st, 2008. A refused visa application is no reason for refund.

Conference language
The conference language will be English.

Insurance
In registering for the 16th International Pathogenic Neisseria Conference 2008, delegates agree that neither the organization nor the conference agency Congress Care is responsible for individual medical, travel or personal insurance. Delegates are requested to arrange their own travel and health insurance. The organizers can not assume liability for changes in the program due to external circumstances.
